2.Close the paper separator cover and position the output tray on the output attachment to accommodate the page length of paper you use:

second step: less than 9 inches

third step: 10 to 11 inches

fourth step: 12 inches or more

You are now ready to use the perforation cutter as described in the next section.

cCaution:

T You cannot open the top cover while the perforated paper output attachment and the output tray is attached. If you want to open the top cover, you need to remove them first.

T When you are ready to reload the paper onto the rear tractor, first remove the perforation cutter. See “Removing the perforation cutter” later in this chapter.
