Initialization Methods

The scanner can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of conditio ns) in the

following ways:

Hardware initialization * When the scanner is turned on.

* When the scanner receives a SCSI Reset

signal from the SCSI interface.

* When you push the RESET button.

Software initiali zation * When software sends the ESC @ (initialize

the scanner) command.

* When the scanner receives a SC SI Bus

Device Message.
