Setting the Slide Switches

The slide switches let you do the following for your LT-286e:

Cl Select a CPU clock speed of 12 MHz or 8 MHz

tl Select an external CRT

tl Select an external diskette drive.

The slide switches are located on the bottom of the computer. Follow these steps:

1.Turn the computer off.

2.Disconnect all cables from the computer, including the AC adapter.

3.Turn the computer upside down with the back panel closest to you.

Set the slide switches only when the computer is turned off.
