CMOS

Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor. A method of making low power, integrated circuits (chips).

CMOS RAM

A special type of low-power memory in your Equity LT-286e that records information about your system’s configuration. Unlike ordinary RAM, CMOS RAM is backed up by a small battery and is not erased when you turn off the computer.
