5.2.8Adjust Speed Control Lever Tension

a)Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key.

b)Tension in speed control lever can be adjusted by adjusting the tightness of the lever pivot bolt, which is located under the seat near the speed control lever. See Figure 14.

c)Set the tension high enough that the speed control lever position is maintained during operation and loose enough to be moved comfortably by the operator.

5.2.9Motion control linkage adjustment

Engine must be running and drive wheels must be turning so motion control adjustment can be performed.
