Door Opening:
a) Locate the hopper door cables. Loosen the jam nut next t o t he yok e at t he
end of t he hopper door cable/shaft assem bly on each side and rot at e t he
shaft unt il the rear door has a clear ance of 1/8”-3/8”. See Figure 22.
b) Verify the cables ar e pulled equally tight on each side.
c) Tight en t he jam nuts against the yokes on each side.

5.2.18 PTO Br ake Spring Adj ustment:
PTO br ake spring adj ust ment is only necessary if the blower has been rem oved
or replaced or if the PT O drive idler arm has been disassem bled.
a) Stop engine, wait for all moving par ts to stop, and r em o ve k ey.
b) Locate the brake spring and t hr ead t he two jam nuts out to t he end of the
brake spr ing rod. See Fig ur e 23.
c) Tight en j am nuts toget her at end of brake spring rod.

6.1 MOTOR OIL DISPOSAL
Engine oil and hydraulic oil are both pollut ants to the environment . Dispose of used oil at
a certified recycling center or accor ding to your state and local regulations.
