Audio input gain and attenuation

NThe set gain (G) and attenuation (g) commands are case sensitive.

You can set the input level to whole dB values only, using the X!*X%G command. The increment and decrement level (X!+G and X!-G) commands increase and decrease the level in steps of 0.5 dB only. The X$ values for all audio gain and attenuation commands are reported in whole dB levels only; the reported X$ value is rounded up to the next higher magnitude value (for example, 1.5 dB is reported as 2 dB and -3.5 dB is reported as -4 dB).
