Viewing a Configuration

The current configuration can be viewed using the front panel buttons and LEDs. The View-onlymode prevents inadvertent changes to the current configuration. View-onlymode also provides a way to mute video and audio outputs (see “Muting and Unmuting Video and Audio Outputs” on page 34.

View the current configuration as follows:

1.Press the Esc button to clear any input LEDs, output LEDs, or control button LEDs that are lit.

2.Press and release the View button. All of the LEDs for outputs that are not tied light.

3.Select video, audio, or both to view by pressing the Video button and the Audio button.

4.Select the desired input or output(s) whose ties you wish to view by pressing the input and output buttons.

NOTES: • When you enter View-onlymode, the output LEDs light for all outputs

without ties. Likewise, when an output button for which there are no

ties is pushed, the output LEDs turn on for all outputs without ties.

To see all ties of the current configuration, press and release each input and output button, one at a time, with the Video LED and the Audio LED lit.

In View-onlymode, you can view video and audio, video-only, or audio- only ties. Pressing and releasing the Video button and the Audio button toggles each on and off.

After 30 seconds of inactivity, View-onlymode automatically deselects.
