PAPER HANDLING

FEEDING AND POSITIONING Line Feed/Form FeedPAPER

Use the line feed/form feed function to move paper forward. Pressing and holding down the LF/FF button feeds one sheet of paper. Pressing the LF/FF button once advances the paper one line (do not hold the button more than three seconds).

Micro Feed

Use the micro feed function to fine tune the position of the paper. Press the −MICRO/↓MICRO button to feed paper by 1/180 inch in the direction of the arrow.

Remember that the top-of-form will slip from the original setting.

Load Position Adjust

Use also the micro feed function to adjust the load position of the paper. When this function is used immediately after the LOAD button is pressed, the adjusted position is retained as the new load position until the power is turned off. Pressing the ONLINE and LOAD buttons simultaneously saves the new position permanently.
