When specifying the data format to be used (native or compressed) for your DAT unit, use the following device codes:
native /dev/rmt/xl[n]
compress /dev/emt/xc[n]
Where x refers to the number specific to your system. To get this number, look in the /dev/rmt directory to find the entry that corresponds to the SCSI ID 5.
