4 Preparation

4.1Floorstand model

4.1.1Opening the server

ÊTerminate all applications and shut down the server correctly.

ÊIf your operating system has not switched off the sever, press the on/off switch.

ÊPull all power connectors out of the power outlets.

ÊIf required, remove the lock on the side cover.

ÊUnlock the server (1).

ÊLoosen the two screws at the rear side (2).

ÊPush back the left-hand side cover approxiate 2 cm (3).

ÊRemove the left-hand side cover (4).
