System expansions

Installing a hard disk drive

►Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging.

►Make the required settings (e.g. master-slave settings) on the drive.

►Secure the EasyChange rails on the side of the hard disk by inserting the upper pins of

the EasyChange rail in the corresponding holes of the hard disk.

►Push the hard disk drive into the casing (1) until the EasyChange rails engage.

►Connect the data and power supply cables to the hard disk drive or to the hard disk drives.

i	Connect the blue plug of the data cable to the connection on the mainboard. Connect the
	plug on the other end to the hard disk drive.

► Attach the front panel (see "Attaching the front panel" chapter). ► Close the casing (see "Closing the casing" chapter).

i It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
