CHAPTER 2: Setting Up Your Monitor

3Connect other audio sources (such as a DVD player or audio receiver) to the appropriate audio jacks on the back of the monitor.

For basic audio quality, connect your audio source to the L/R (two-channel stereo) audio in jacks for the device. Your monitor has L/R stereo jack pairs that are associated with S-Video, Composite (standard), and Component video modes (cables not included).

For best audio performance, if your video connection uses HDMI, the digital audio is also conveyed along the same cable, and no additional audio connection is required. You may need to set your video source’s audio mode to PCM or ANALOG to hear the audio. See your source device’s user guide for more information.
