Youroven temperature is controlled very accurately using an oven control
system. We recommend that you operate the range for anumber of weeks
using the time given on recipes as aguide to become familiar with your new
oven’s performance.
NOTE: When the oven gets hot, the top and outside surfaces of the range
get hot too.
How to Set the Range for Preheating(tight Oven)

On model JCP67, the STOP and ST~T dials are Model JCS57
different in appearance than the dials on the JCS57.
However, they do operate in the same manner.
