Damage to your eyes, lungs, and ears could result from using this machine without proper protective gear. Always wear safety glasses, a respirator, and hearing protection when operating this machine.
Loose hair and cloth-
ing could get caught in
machinery and cause seri-
ous personal injury. Keep
loose clothing and long
hair away from moving machinery.
Lock the mobile base wheel before operat- ing the jointer! Operating the jointer with the wheel unlocked may cause loss of control, resulting in serious personal injury.

Table Movement: To move the infeed table, loosen the table lock (Figure 22), move the table with the table lever in the preset range, then tighten the table lock. The outfeed table is preset with no range of movement allowed, so if it gets accidentally unlocked it will not move. To adjust the preset range of movement, refer to SECTION
7:SERVICE about setting table heights.
