Step 6
Use the lvextend command to transfer the mirrors back on to the replaced disk. This will take some time because it copies all of the data from the original copy of the data to the mirrored extents. The logical volumes are still accessible to users’ applications during this command for
# lvextend
or for
# lvextend
If you follow the example under “Example of a Disk Module Failure”, the host will display:
#lvextend
#lvextend
At this point, your system should be fully functioning.
If the host fails during Step 6
Execute an lvdisplay command to determine if the command was successfully executed. If the command did not successfully execute,
You should perform any other lvextend commands that had not been executed before the system failure.
