Removal and Replacement Procedures

✎Steps 8 and 9 apply only to HP Compaq nx4800 and Compaq Presario V2000 notebook models.

8.Remove the following:

❏15 PM2.0×7.0 screws 1

❏3 PM2.0×4.0 screws 2

9.Lift the base enclosure straight up and remove it 3.

Removing the Base Enclosure, HP Compaq nx4800 and Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook Models Only

Reverse the above procedure to install the base enclosure.
