Symbol Purpose

This symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the television’s enclosure that may be of sufficient potential to constitute a risk of electric shock to people.

This symbol on the television is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the television.

This symbol indicates that the lamp in the television contains mercury. Special disposal of the lamp for environmental reasons may be required under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
