Propagating the Kerberos Server

Setting Up Propagation

Verify that propagation has occurred on the secondary security server by using the kdb_dump utility to view the contents of the principal database on the secondary security server. The existence of recently added principal accounts indicates a successful propagation.

For information on troubleshooting problems encountered during propagation, see “Monitoring Propagation” on page 263.
