a.Ontgrendel de dieptestaakpen (fig. 11 inzet c). Trek de dieptestaak omhoog voor een hogere bewerkingsdiepte. Zet de dieptestaakpen in het gat in de dieptestaak om de positie te vergrendelen (fig. 11 - inzet C).

b.Zet de schakelhendelindicator (fig. 11 - inzet A) in de "T" positie (bewerken).

c.Hou de stuurhendel tegen de hendel (fig. 10) om te beginnen bewerken. De tanden en de wielen draaien niet.

d.Zet de gashendel (fig. 10) op "FAST" (snel) voor diep bewerken. Zet de gashendel op de gewenste snelheid om te bewerken.

Bewerkingstips

Bewerken is graven in de aarde, ze omwoelen en fijnhakken voor men plant. Losse, nietcompacte aarde bevordert de wortelgroei. De beste diepte is 10-15 cm.

De conditie van de aarde is een belangrijke factor. De tanden kunnen niet zo makkelijk in een droge, harde grond dringen, wat tot kaatsen en moelijk besturen van uw cultivator kan leiden. Harde grond moet eerst bevochtigd worden voor men hem kan bewerken. Anderzijds vormt doornatte grond "balletjes" en kluiten, en moet men wachten tot de grond iets minder nat is voor men hem bewerkt.

Laat ongeveer 20 cm onbewerkte grond tussen de eerste en de tweede strook Daarna bewerkt u het stuk tussen de eerste en de tweede strook (fig. 12).

Leun niet op de hendel. Hierdoor is er minder druk op de wielen en bijgevolg minder trekkracht. Om door een moeilijk stuk harde grond of gras te raken, moet u bovenwaartse druk op de hendel uitoefenen of de diep-testaak verlagen.
