6 MEMORY PROGRAMMING
■General
The transceiver has 100 memory channels (plus 3 pairs of scan edges and 1 call channel) for storage of
DMemory channel contents
The following information can be programmed into the memory:
•Operating frequency
•Duplex direction (+ or
•Subaudible tone encoder or tone squelch ON/OFF (pgs. 21, 35)
•Subaudible tone and tone squelch frequencies (pgs. 22, 36)
•Skip information* (p. 32)
*Except for scan edge channels.
■Programming the memory/call
channels
qPush [D•CLR] to select VFO mode, if necessary. w Set the desired frequency.
e Set other information such as tone, duplex, etc. as desired.
r Push [C•MR] for 1 sec. (until 3 beeps emitted) after pushing [A•FUNC] to program the information into the displayed memory
channel and return to VFO
• Continue to hold [C•MR] down for 1 |
