AStandby button (43)

Sets the AV receiver to Standby.

BOn button (43)

Turns on the AV receiver.

CInput Selector buttons (60)

Used to select the input source.

DMacro buttons (123)

Used with the Macro function.

EDimmer button (79)

Adjusts the display brightness.

F Arrow [ Manual background ]/[ ]/[Manual background ]/[ ] and Enter buttons

Used to select and adjust settings.

GCH +/– button (78)

Selects radio presets.

HSetup button

Used to change settings.

IDisplay button (80)

Displays information about the current input source.

JListening Mode buttons (82)

Used to select the listening modes. The [Stereo],

[Surround], and Listening Mode [Manual background ]/[ ] buttons can be used at any time, regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode.

KTest Tone, CH Sel, Level–, and Level+ buttons (79, 100)

Used to adjust the level of each speaker.

LLight button

Turns the remote controller’s illuminated buttons on or off.

MD.TUN button (62)

Selects the Direct tuning mode for radio.

NRemote Mode buttons (15)

Used to select the remote controller modes. When you press a button, the Remote Mode button for the currently selected mode lights up.

OSleep button (80)

Used with the Sleep function.

P VOL [ Manual background ]/[ ] button (60)

Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode.

QReturn button

Returns to the previous display when changing set- tings.

RMuting button (79)

Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver.

SRe-EQ button (91)

Turns the Re-EQ function on or off.

TL Night button (91)

Turns the Late Night function on or off.

UAudio Sel button (81)

Selects the audio input: analog, digital, HDMI, or multichannel.

TAPE mode

On twin cassette decks, only Deck B can be controlled.

1 Previous and Next [Manual backgroundManual background ]/[ ] buttons

The Previous [Manual backgroundManual background ] button selects the previous track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track. The Next [ ] button selects the next track.

Depending on how they were recorded, the Previous and Next [Manual backgroundManual background ]/[ ] buttons may not work prop- erly with some cassette tapes.

Play [ ] button

Starts playback.

Rewind and Fast Forward [Manual background ]/[ ] buttons The Rewind [Manual background ] button starts rewind. The Fast Forward [ ] button starts fast forward.

Reverse Play [Manual background] button

Starts reverse playback.

Stop [Manual background] button

Stops playback.

Rec [Manual background ] button

Starts recording.
