Controller Settings/Repair or Service

SetupoftheElectronicControlUnitistobeperformedonlybyaqualifiedtechnician.
Thefinaladjustmentsofthecontrollermayaffectotheractivitiesofthewheelchair.
Damagetotheequipmentcouldoccurifimproperlysetuporadjusted.
Wheelchairsshouldbeexaminedduringmaintenanceforsignsofcorrosion(water
exposure,incontinence,etc.).Electricalcomponentsdamagedbycorrosionshouldbe
replacedIMMEDIATELY.
Wheelchairsthatareusedbyincontinentusersand/orarefrequentlyexposedtowater
mayrequirereplacementofelectricalcomponentsmorefrequently.

Accessories

Extremecareshouldbeexercisedwhenusingoxygenincloseproximitytoelectriccircuits
andothercombustiblematerials.Contactyouroxygensupplierforinstructionintheuse
ofoxygen.

Operation Information

Performanceadjustmentsshouldonlybemadebyprofessionalsofthehealthcarefieldor
personsfullyconversantwiththisprocessandthedriverʹscapabilities.Incorrectsettings
couldcauseinjurytothedriver,bystanders,damagetothechairandtosurrounding
property.
Afterthewheelchairhasbeensetup,checktomakesurethatthewheelchairperformsto
thespecificationsenteredduringthesetupprocedure.Ifthewheelchairdoesnot
performtospecifications,turnthewheelchairOffimmediatelyandreentersetup
specifications.Repeatthisprocedureuntilthewheelchairperformstospecifications.
ALWAYSshiftyourweightinthedirectionyouareturning.DONOTshiftyourweight
intheoppositedirectionoftheturn.Shiftingyourweightintheoppositedirectionofthe
turnmaycausetheinsidedrivewheeltolosetractionandthewheelchairtotipover.
DONOTshiftyourweightorsittingpositiontowardthedirectionyouarereachingasthe
wheelchairmaytipover.
DONOTmakesharpturnsintheforwardorreversedirectionatexcessivespeed.Failure
toobservethiswarningcancausethewheelchairtotipoverandmayresultininjuryto
users,bystandersand/ordamagetoproduct.
