(from VHS to HDD)

You can dub selected scenes on a tape, starting and stopping wherever you wish.

TURN ON THE RECORDER

1 Press POWER.

LOCATE START POINT

1) Select the point where you want to start dubbing by

pressing PLAY, FF, REW.

2) Press REW a little ,then PLAY to start playback.

 

3) Press PAUSE to pause playback before that point a

 

little.

 

 

 

PREPARE HDD DECK FOR

DUBBING

1) Press HDD.

2) Press CH +/– to set the channel “DUB”.

3) Press REC SPEED to select recording speed.

 

4) Select the point where you want to start recording by

 

pressing PLAY, FF, REW, STOP.

 

 

 

• Set “PICTURE CONTROL” to “EDIT” at the “VHS SET

 

UP 1” of the Main Menu (pg. 44).

1) Press VHS and PLAY to start playback.

2) Press HDD and REC (REC and PLAY on the remote

control) to start dubbing.

 

To enter recording pause, press and hold REC and

 

press PAUSE on the remote control. To resume

 

recording, press and hold REC and press PLAY on the

 

remote control.

 

 

 

END DUBBING

 

Press STOP. Then press VHS and press STOP.

Set “PICTURE CONTROL” to “AUTO” or “STAN-

DARD” at the “VHS SET UP 1” of the main MENU

 

after dubbing.

NOTES:

There may be a discrepancy of several seconds between where you intend editing to start, and where it actually starts.

The superimposed indication during the operation or dubbing is not recorded.

For HDD deck, the recording pause takes effect only when the recorder is recording on the HDD deck with the channel set to “L-1”, “F-1”, or “DUB”. The recording pause is released in 5 minutes automatically. Picture and sound may be distorted at the point where the recording pause is released.

Dubbing copyright guarded tape is not possible.
