Basic Recording
NOTE:

1Remove the lens cap.
2Press PUSH OPEN and open the LCD monitor fully, or pull out the viewfinder fully.
3Set the Recording Mode Switch to “HD”, “SD” or “DV”. For details, refer to “Recording Mode” ( pg. 19).
4Set the Power Switch to “A” or “M” while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch.

●When a blank portion is left between recorded scenes on the tape, the time code is interrupted and errors may occur when editing the tape. To avoid this, refer to “Recording From The Middle Of A Tape” ( pg. 21).
●When the recording mode is set to “HD” or “SD”, the image is not recorded for the first few seconds on the tape.
●To turn the tally lamp or beep sounds off, pg. 33, 36.
