9 [OPERATE] button		[IN-R.A.E-OUT] lamps
Turns the power on and off.		Lights when Random Assemble Editing mode is
0 [HI-FI AUDIO SELECT] button		selected and when IN/OUT points are set.
		$ [HD INPUT] button
Selects Hi-Fi audio sources to be played back.
Every press of this button changes right and left		Input mode will change to HD input mode by

Selects audio to be played back.

Corrects the distorted or blurred picture with an		[REC LEVEL] adjust knob

		Adjusts Hi-Fi audio recording level. Carefully adjust
@ [INDEX MARK] button		this knob, as a recording level that is too low may
Marks the index signal.		lead to increased noise, and a level that is too high
		may cause distortion.
[INDEX ERASE] button

Erases the index signal.

#[OPERATE] lamp

Lights when the power is on.

[HD] lamp

Lights when HD mode is selected with a W-VHS tape in use or when an HD-recorded tape is played back.

[SD] lamp

Lights when SD mode is selected with a W-VHS tape in use or when an SD-recorded tape is played back.

[S-VHS] lamp

Lights when an S-VHS cassette is loaded and when an S-VHS-recorded tape is played back or while recording in the S-VHS mode.

&[COUNTER/REMAIN] button

Alternates the display window between the tape counter display and the tape remaining time display.

*[COUNTER RESET] button

Resets the tape counter display to 0:00:00.

( [ZERO SEARCH] button

Stops the tape at the position of 0:00:00 on the display counter.
