Using Preset Tuning

Once a station is assigned to a channel number, the station can be quickly tuned. You can preset up to 30 FM and 15 AM stations.

To store the preset stations automatically

From the remote control ONLY:

Press and hold MEMORY for a while.

“AUTO SAVE” appears on the display, and automatic

 

preset starts.

 

Local stations with the strong signals are searched for and stored automatically in the band. When FM preset is over, the band changes to AM and automatic preset starts.

To store the preset stations

From the remote control ONLY:

1Tune in the station you want to preset (see “Tuning in Stations”).

To tune in a preset station

From the remote control ONLY:

1 Press FM/AM repeatedly to select the FM/AM band.

The last received station of the selected band is tuned in.

Each time you press the button, the band alternates between FM and AM.

To cancel a mis-entry, press CLEAR.

You can press ¡/1 to select the preset station. ¡: Increases the preset number.

1: Decreases the preset number.

Selecting the FM Reception Mode

When an stereo FM program tuned currently is noisy, you can change the FM reception mode to improve the reception.

From the remote control ONLY:

 

Press FM MODE.

To select number 1 to 9, press the corresponding number button.

To select number 15, press 1, 5.

To cancel a mis-entry, press CLEAR.

The STEREO indicator goes off from the display and the program loses the stereo effect.

To resume the stereo effect, press FM MODE again. FM MODE

The stereo effect resumes.

Note:

4Press ENTER to store the preset station.

5Repeat steps 1 to 4 until you store all the stations you want.

To erase a stored preset station

Storing a new station on a used number erases the previously stored one.

The FM reception mode will also resumes in the following cases:

When you change the frequency, the preset number, or the band

When you change the source (If you use SOURCE button on the unit, the FM reception mode is memoried.)

When you turn off the system
