1 Load the CD-RW to be erased in the CDR disc tray.
•The number of tracks and play time are shown in the informa- tion display.
2 When the unit is in the stop mode, press the MENU button (main unit/remote control).
3 Turn the MULTI JOG control or press the 2/3
(menu) button on the remote control until “DISC ERASE” is shown in the information display.
4 Press the SET button (main unit/remote control).
•“ERASE DISC?” is shown in the information display.
•Press the CANCEL button (main unit/remote control) if you do not wish to perform this procedure.
5 Press the SET button (main unit/remote control).
•Full disc erasure takes a few minutes to perform. During the procedure, the length of the level meter is used to indicate approximately how much time is remaining until erasure is complete (One segment equals approximately 15 seconds). “ERASE DISC” flashes on the information display. When the disc has been erased, “BLANK DISC” is displayed, then changes to “CDR 1 0:00.”
