Followthese tips when moving the
refrigeratorto final location:
NEVERtransport refrigerator on its
side.If an upright position is not
possible,lay refrigerator on its back.
Allow refrigerator to sit upright for
approximately30 minutesprior to
pluggingrefrigerator in to assure oil
returnsto the compressor. Plugging
refrigeratorin immediatelymaycause
damageto internal parts.
Usean appliance dolly when moving
refrigerator.ALWAYStruck
refrigeratorfrom its side or back-
NEVERfrom itsfront.
Protectoutside finish of refrigerator
duringtransport by wrapping cabinet
inblankets or insertingpadding
betweenthe refrigerator and dolly.
Securerefrigeratorto dollyfirmlywith
stropsor bungeecords.Threadstraps
throughhandleswhenpossible.DONOT
overtighten.Overtighteningrestraintsmay
dentordamageoutsidefinish.
Observethese pointswhen choosing the
final location for your refrigerator:
DO NOT install refrigerator near
oven, radiatoror other heat source. If
not possible,shield refrigerator with
cabinetmaterial.
DO NOT install where temperature
falls below 55° F (13° C). Malfunction
mayoccur at this temperature.
