WATER FILTER
1. Removebluebypasscapand retain
for possiblelateruse.
2. Removesealing label from end of
filter and insert intofilter head.
3. Rotategently clockwise until filter
stops,and snap filter cover closed.
4. Reduce water spurts by flushing air
fromsystem. Runwatercontinuously
for 2 minutes through dispenser until
waterruns steady.
Additionalflushing may be
requiredin some households
wherewater is of poor quality.
REPLACING
WATER FILTER
IMPORTANT: Airtrappedinsystem
maycausewater andcartridgetoeject.
Usecautionwhenremoving.
1. Turn filter counterclockwiseuntil it
releasesfrom filter head.

Drain water from filter into sink, and
disposein normalhousehold
garbage.
Wipe up excess waterin filter cover
andcontinue with InstallingWater

WHEN DO I CHANGE THE
WATERFILTER?
The dispenserfeatures a water filter
change indicator.For instructions on
how to operateand reset this feature,
refer to the DispenserFeatures section
(page 18).
IMPORTANT:Condition of water and
amountuseddetermines life span of
waterfilter cartridge. If water use is
high, or if water is of poorquality,
replacementmay need to take place
more often.

WATER?
Duringinitial use, allow about a 1 to 2
minutedelay in water dispersal to allow
internalwater tank to fill.

TO USE THE WATER
FILTRATION SYSTEM?
Dispenserfeature may be used without
water filter cartridge. If you choose this
option, replace filter with blue bypass
cap.
