Whenon,youneedtorefillthes altstorageareawith
salt.After refilling,reset thesaltmonitortoturnthe
lightoff.RefertoSaltMonitorSystem,page10.
PROGRAM MEMORY
If electricalpowertothesoftenergoesoff,thetime
displayisblankbut thefaceplatetimerkeepsthe
correct timeforabout48 hours.Whenelectrical
powercomesonagain,youhavetoreset thepresent
timeonlyif thedisplayisflashing.TheHARDNESS
andRECHARGE TIMEnever requireresetting
unless a changeisdesired.
Evenif thetimerisincorrectafteralongpower
outage,thesoftenerworksasitshouldtokeepyour
watersoft.However,regenerationsmayoccuratthe
wrongtimeofdayuntil youreset thetimertothe
correct timeofday.
