Canceling editing
Editing can be canceled provided that it is attempted before "WRITING" is displayed.

1While the MD is in stop mode, press the TRACK EDIT key re- peatedly until "3CANCEL" is displayed, then press the SET key.
To cancel the CANCEL operation in the middle :
Press the TRACK EDIT key any time before the end of step 1.
÷Be careful not to apply vibration to the unit while "WRITING" is displayed, because the MD recorder is writing recorded and edited data in the MD in this period. Also, to avoid loss of recorded and edited data, do not unplug the power cord before "WRITING" disappears.
÷"WRITING" is displayed in the following cases :
-When recording of MD completes.
-When MD is ejected.
-When the POWER 
key is pressed to put the unit in the STANDBY mode.
÷The CANCEL operation is not available unless editing has been started.
If "X CANCEL" is displayed, the subsequent operation will not be available (see page 53).
2Press the ENTER key.
3Eject the MD.
"WRITING" is displayed.
