Use the following procedure to record a radio (TUNER) broadcasting at the designated period of time.

1Make preparation for record- ing.

See steps 1 and 3 in "Recording CD onto MD" (page 18).

2Perform steps 2 to 6 of "Timer playback using pro- gram timer" (page 47).

3PresstheVOLUME/MULTICON-

TROL UP () or DOWN ( ) key so that "REC" is displayed, thenpresstheSET/DEMOkey.

4PresstheVOLUME/MULTICON-

TROL UP () or DOWN ( ) key to select the preset station number to be recorded, then press the SET/DEMO key.

7Execution

5Press the TIMER key on the remote repeatedly so that the program number to be ex- ecuted("PROG.1"or"PROG.2"

is lit.

6Press the POWERkey to put the unit in the STANDBY mode.

When the timer program is activated and the unit enters the STANDBY mode, the STANDBY/TIMER indicator lights in green. When the set ON time comes, the timer program is executed and recording starts.
