Indicator Lights

The indicator lights on the display panel illuminate according to the status of the printer. There are two indicator lights:

Power

The Power light indicates that the printer is turned on.

Error

The Error light indicates that there is an error condition. When this light is lit, a message will be displayed. There are two types of error conditions: user-correctable errors and errors requiring service.

User-correctable errorÐwhen the error light is lit but is not flashing, you can correct the problem yourself. The light will stay on until you have responded to all messages displayed in the LCD panel.

Service call errorÐwhen the error light flashes, a system error message will be displayed on the LCD panel. Turn the printer off and then on again. If the error continues, service is required.
