System Administrators

If a message appears in the Status Display which is within the ranges E000-E299 or E500-E599, you should take the action indicated in the table(s) which appear in this section.

IMPORTANT: Never power down the machine without first contacting your System Administrator.

If a message appears in the Status Display which is within the ranges E300-E499 or E600-E999, you should contact your System Administrator.

If a message appears in the Status Display which is within the ranges E300-E499 or E600-E999, you should be contacted by the operator.

The following action(s) should be taken: •Determinewhetherornottheerrorcanbeaddressedfromthehost system,ifapplicable.

•Attempt to cleartheerrorbytakingtheactionindicatedinthe table(s)whichappearinthissection. •Iftheprescribedaction(s)donotcleartheerror,initiateacontrolled power-downsequence:

-Waitforallinformationcurrentlyheldinthebuffertobetransferred to the host system, if applicable.

-TurnofftheScanner/Microimagertransportusingthesidepanel switch.

-TurnofftheScanner/Microimagerpowerusingthemainpower

switch.

-Wait 10 - 30 seconds.

-TurnontheScanner/Microimagerpowerusingthemainpower

switch.

-TurnontheScanner/Microimagertransportusingthesidepanel

switch.

•Iftheerrorconditionisnotclearedusingthecontrolledpower-down sequence,contactservice.
