LED indicators

There are 3 LEDs on the camera.

Each LED indicates the status of the camera depending on how it lights or flashes.

Self-timer LED (red)

While using the self-timer

Flashes

When a movie is being shot

When the shutter operates and shooting ends

When the camera is connected to a PC

Lights

Card access LED (orange)

Flashes while the camera is accessing the memory card, such as recording images to memory card or reading data.

While the LED is flashing, do not open the card/battery cover or remove the memory card.
