When the battery charge is completely depleted, the “LOW BATTERY” message appears on the LCD monitor.

Depending on the environment in which the digital camera is being used, the amount of power consumed may increase. Even if the battery level icon is displayed, the camera may switch itself off in some camera operating conditions.

When this occurs, charge the battery.

Setting the Date and Time

The first time you use your digital camera, you must set the date and time.

The date and time settings may also be cleared when you remove the battery pack or if you leave the camera unused for a long period. If this happens, reset the date and time.
