Tocleanthenon-opticalmouse,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffyourcomputer.
2.Disconnectthemousecablefromthecomputer.
3.Turnthemouseupsidedown.Twisttheretainerring1totheunlockedpositiontorevealtheball.
4.Placeyourhandovertheretainerringandball2,andthenturnthemousebottom-sidedown,sothat
theretainerringandballfalloutintoyourhand.
5.Washtheballinwarm,soapywater.Then,dryitwithacleancloth.
6.Carefullyblowairintotheballcage4todislodgedustandlint.
7.Lookforabuildupofdirtontheplasticrollers3insidetheballcage.Thisbuildupusuallyappearsasa
striperunningacrossthemiddleoftherollers.
8.Iftherollersaredirty,cleanthembyusingacottonswabsoakedinisopropyl(rubbing)alcohol.Turnthe
rollerswithyourngerandcontinueswabbingthemuntilallthedirtisremoved.Besuretherollersare
stillcenteredintheirchannelsafteryoucleanthem.
9.Removeanyswabbersthatmightberemainingontherollers.
10.Reinstalltheballandtheretainerring.Twisttheretainerringtothelockedposition.
11.Reconnectthemousecabletothecomputer.
