8.Grasp the RAID card by its edges and gently slide the RAID card out of the RAID card retention bracket and the riser card assembly 2.

Note: The RAID card might fit tightly into the PCI Express card slot. If necessary, alternate moving each side of the RAID card a small and equal amount until it is completely removed from the slot.

9.Touch the static-protective package that contains the RAID card to any unpainted surface on the outside of the server. Then, take the RAID card and the low-profile bracket out of the package.

Note: Carefully handle the RAID card by its edges.

10.Remove the two screws from the RAID card and then remove the full-height bracket from the RAID card.
