8.Carefully lift up the hot-swap hard-disk-drive backplane. When the hooks 1 are aligned with the holes in the backplane, slowly move the backplane a little bit outward. Then, completely remove the hot-swap hard-disk-drive backplane.

9.Touch the static-protective package that contains the new hot-swap hard-disk-drive backplane to any unpainted surface on the outside of the server. Then, remove the new backplane from the package.

Note: Carefully handle the backplane by its edges.
