How to do a control solution test:

STEP 1 Insert Test Strip.
To turn on the meter, insert a test strip,
contact bars end first and facing up, into the
test port. Push it all the way in until it will
go no further.
“OneTouch UltraSmart” will appear briefly	(Example)
on the display.

Then “Code 9 (example), Check Code” is displayed. Be sure the meter and test strip codes match. If they do not, code the meter correctly (see page 10).
