5VCR User Setting

Rental Playback

This function enables you to improve the picture quality when playing back worn cassettes such as rented tapes.

1Press [SET-UP]to display the main menu.

2Use [Cursor K / L] to select “USER’S SETUP“, then press

[ENTER].

5Press [PLAY B] to start playback.

RENTAL PLAY B

Note:

•This setting will not change even if you turn off the unit.

•To cancel the setting, select “OFF” at step 3.

Auto Repeat Playback

This function allows you to repeat playback indefi nitely.

1Follow steps 1 to 2 in “Rental Playback“ above.

2Use [Cursor K / L] to select “REPEAT PLAY”, then press [ENTER] repeatedly until the desired selection “ALL“ or “BLANK“ appears.

						INTRODUCTION
	ALL		Repeat playback from the beginning to the
			end of the tape.
	BLANK		Repeat playback from the beginning to a part,
			which is blank for more than 10 seconds.			PREPARATION
3	Press [SET-		UP] to exit.
	OFF		Cancel repeat playback.
						INITIAL
4 Press [PLAY B] to start the repeat playback.
				REPEAT PLAY B		SETTING
	Note:
	• If the rental mode is set to “ON”, “RENTAL PLAY B” display					WATCHING
	has priority.
	• This setting will not change even if you turn off the unit.
			Auto Return			TV
This function allows you to automatically search the beginning of the
						OPERATING

recorded program(s) after timer recording fi nishes.

	Note:
4 When all the timer recordings are completed, the

unit will rewind to the beginning of the recorded program(s) and then turn itself off.

•If you turn off the unit while rewinding the tape, the auto return will stop.

To cancel the auto return mode	INFORMATION
Press [ENTER] once again at step 2 until “OFF“ is dis-
played on the TV screen.

•Even if any power failure occurs, the unit will retain its memory for this feature.
