5Copying a Cassette Tape from

External Device

You can make copies of cassette tapes for your enjoyment.

•You CANNOT copy a DVD to a cassette tape.

Warning:

•Unauthorized recordings of copyrighted cassette tapes may be an infringement of copyright laws.

•Connect this unit and a source (for playback) device as shown the following diagram.

1Insert a pre-recorded cassette tape into the external device (VCR, camcorder, etc.).

2 Insert a cassette tape to record into this unit’s cassette compartment.

3Press [SPEED] to select the desired tape speed (SP/ SLP).

4Press [SELECT] until “AUX” appears on the screen.

5Press [REC/OTR I] on the unit.

REC

6Begin playback of the tape in the device.

7To stop copying, press [STOP/EJECT CA] on the unit, then stop the playback on the device.

Note:

•For best results during copying, use the control panel when- ever possible. The remote control might affect the operation of the external device.
