Beep

When battery charge can provide no more than

1-3 minutes of recording or playback and Beep is set to On, the CHARGE indicator, REC indicator and the battery indicator in the display will flash, and the PMD671 will beep through the headphones or speaker.

If the PMD671 is not operated for 30 minutes during stop or play pause, power can be automatically shut off to conserve battery life. (See A.PowOFF.) If A.PowOFF is set to Yes, and Beep is set to ON, the PMD671 will beep to alert you that the power is shutting off.

Default is Beep On.

1.From stop, press and hold the MENU/ STORE button for about 2 seconds. Preset will appear (flashing) in the display.

2.While Preset is flashing, press and release

the F.FWD/+ button repeatedly until Beep is displayed.

3.Press and release the ENTER button . The On-Off choice will flash.

4. Press and release the F.FWD/+ button or

the -/F.REV button to toggle between On and Off.

5.When the desired state appears press and

release the ENTER button .

The display returns to Beep flashing.

You can:

Press and release the F.FWD/+ button or the -/

F.REV button to tab to another menu choice, or

Press and release the MENU/STORE button to write the menu changes and return to stop mode, or

Press and release the CANCEL button to cancel all menu changes and return to stop mode.

Automatic Power Off

If the PMD671 is not operated for 30 minutes during stop or play pause, power is automatically shut off to conserve battery life when A.PowOff is set to Yes.

Default is A.PowOFF Yes
