Testing Procedures

To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury or death; disconnect power to oven before servicing, unless testing requires power.

Illustration	Component		Test Procedure	Results
	Oven indicator light	Measure voltage at indicator light		If voltage is present and light does not
	and			work replace light.
	Surface indicator light			If no voltage is present at indicator light
				check wiring.
	Rocker switch	Measure continuity of switch positions:
		Closed		Continuity
		Open		Infinite
	Door plunger switch	Measure continuity at the following
		points:
		C-NO		Plunger in continuity, Plunger out infinite.
	Autolatch assembly	Disconnect wires and test for		See wiring diagram for schematic layout.
	with switch	continuity per wiring diagram.		Refer to Parts Manual for correct
				autolatch switch associated with the
				correct manufacturing number.
	Convection Assembly	Measure voltage		120 VAC.
	Convection Element	Remove wires, check resistance		Approximately 30 Ω.
	Convection Motor	Check motor windings to ground		No continuity.
		Motor speed		Approx. 900 RPM.
	Limiter	Normally Closed
		Verify proper operation.
		Open	Approx. 216°F	Infinite
		Closed	Approx. 176°F	Continuity
	Temperature sensor	Measure resistances		Approximately 1100 Ω at room
				temperature 75°F.
