G Select a drying programme

The programmes are described in the "Drying programme charts".

^Turn the programme selector to the required drying programme.

^For minimum iron fabrics which are being dried in the TIMED DRYING programme, you should always select the Drying/ Low temp. additional option.

The sensor drying programmes for COTTONS and MINIMUM IRON include a thermospin process. This process uses heat during a pre-tumbling spin to break the bond between the water and the clothes being dried. This reduces drying times and the amount of energy required for drying (one of the spin speed indicator lamps will light up).

Exception: The thermospin will not be carried out if the additional function Drying/Low temp. has been selected.

"Thermospin"

^Press the "Spin" button repeatedly until the indicator lamp for the spin speed you want for the thermospin comes on.

Exception: The thermospin will not be carried out if TIMED DRYING has been selected.

Drying / Low temp.

The temperature is reduced during the drying programme.

–This is suitable for particularly sensitive fabrics (care symbol r) e.g. acrylics.

The additional option Drying/Low temp. can be selected for any programme where it is required.

The thermospin will not take place.
