Press the56buttons until the Vertical Interval Test Signal (VITS) menu appears. This menu allows the user to insert VITS on lines 17 or 18.

Note: Upon exiting this submenu, the Waveform field will revert back to the default value (Transmitted).

The Waveform field allows the user to insert a VITS from several internally stored patterns, from a pattern transmitted over the satellite link, or to turn off VITS insertion. Press the4button until the cursor is at the Waveform label, and press the ENTER button to move into the field. Press the 56 buttons to display the options. Choose from the options listed on the next page.
