Computer to WPS870G Connection

If you are connecting the WPS870G directly to your computer, that computer must first be equipped with an Ethernet adapter card. Use a crossover Ethernet cable for this procedure; a crossover cable is not supplied.

1Using the crossover Ethernet cable, take one end and plug it into the LAN Ethernet port on the back of your computer. If you already have an Ethernet cable plugged into the port, you can temporarily remove it for this procedure. Remember to replace the cable after this set up is completed.
