Protocol Settings

Protocol Settings allows you to update print server parameters to work with different printer networks.

AppleTalk®

Click Protocol Settings to access the AppleTalk window. The AppleTalk window is displayed:

AppleTalk zone

Type the name of the AppleTalk zone to which you wish to connect.

 

An asterisk “*” allows you to connect to any AppleTalk zone.

Port 1

Type a name to describe the printer driver used for the port. The
