IPP Client Configuration – Windows 98SE/ME

To configure the IPP client in Windows 98SE/ME:

1Navigate to the program by clicking Start > Programs > IPP Port Monitor > Add IPP Port. The Configure IPP Port window is displayed:

2Enter the IP Address or URL of the IPP Server. If using a router with forwarding capabilities, then enter the router’s IP address. If you are assigned a public IP address from your ISP, enter that IP address.

3If Internet access from your location is using a Proxy Server, check Access IPP Server via Proxy Server, and enter details of your Proxy Server (this will be the same as your Browser configuration). For Port Number use 631.

4If necessary, click Select Device Port to view the available ports on the WPS870G, and select the appropriate port.

5Click Save.
